Community Based Program

The community-based match, or traditional match, is the most flexible program for frequency, duration, and a number of Big/Little match outings.  Volunteers usually come to us through our awareness program, through radio and community outreach activities.  Many volunteers are re-matched after they have completed their work with one child.  Many Bigs and Littles retained relationships for many years, long after an original match has ended.  Our matches do amazing things like long distance bike rides or climbing a mountain, and simple things such as creating paper snowflakes.
