Mentoring a Child with Disabilities
This innovative Big Brothers Big Sisters program that is targeted to include children with a broad range of significant emotional and developmental disabilities. The focus of this mentoring experience is to help cross barriers of acceptance and prevent future social/emotional problems. This project is being embarked upon as collaboration between Big Brother Big Sisters, Monadnock Development Services, and MDS Family Council. Funding has been received from Monadnock United Way, Roland McDonald House Charities, NH Charitable Foundation and Cogswell to support this program in 2006 and 2007.
